Why They Aren’t Buying (And How to Fix It) 💡

Selling...I've learned that the key to selling is this: People buy when they know, like and trust you. You've heard that before, but hear me out.

Building Trust:
Buying something on Amazon, for example. We don't buy something until we read the reviews and description. That's trust. Reviews are what help us feel like weknowthe product,likewhat it will do for us, and buildstrustbased on all the good reviews we read.

The Second Rule of Acquisition:
The sales are in the numbers. What does that mean, really? Only a small percentage of followers buy something from you at any given time - around 10-20%. So if you want to sell 100 items, you need about 1000 followers (at a minimum) who feel that they know, like and trust you.

Howeverrrrrrr followers aren't necessarily all made of the same mettle. An email subscriber is MUCH more likely to buy from you than a social media follower. Social media followers average around 1-3% in my experience.

Why?? Because your email folks already trust you enough to give your their email address, AND you've been sending regular emails to nurture that relationship...right??😉
